The nursing profession is approaching a critical juncture with the looming retirement of many experienced nurses, coupled with an existing shortage of nursing faculty. This scarcity of skilled nurses not only limits capacities the healthcare setting and nursing schools but also has the potential to impact the quality and quantity of new nurses entering the field.
Furthermore, the need for additional nurses is growing rapidly, with projections indicating a significant increase in demand to maintain quality healthcare services.
This demand coincides with a time when the financial burden of nursing education is becoming increasingly challenging. Escalating college costs and substantial student loan debt pose significant barriers for many aspiring nurses.
Our mission is to provide support and advocacy for nursing education. We are committed to working towards solutions that ensure a steady and qualified flow of professionals into the nursing sector. Addressing these challenges is paramont for sustaining high-quality healthcare for future generations.
How It Works
Supporting Future Nurses Through Scholarships
Annual Scholarship Awards
We will be awarding individual scholarships to those pursuing their Bachelors of Nursing (BSN), each valued at $10,000. The number of recipients will be based on the total funds raised in the preceding year. Furthermore, every fifth year, we will grant a $25,00 scholarship to an individual pursuing a Nurse Practitioner (NP) degree.
Allocation of Funds
Our objective is to encourage, support and strengthen the number the individuals dedicated to obtaining either a Bachelors of Nursing or a Nurse Practitioner degree. Seventy-five percent of the funds we raise will be directed towards supporting students pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), while the remaining 25% will be allocated to assist those pursuing their Nurse Practitioner degree (NP).

The scholarships are funded through the generous donations of our community. The number of scholarships and the amount we can offer are directly linked to these contributions, emphasizing the importance of community support in fostering nursing education.
